People are doing some pretty neat sci-fi stuff with SketchUp at the Google 3D Warehouse. SketchUp was originally intended as design sketch tool for architects, but these structures expand on that (note that some of these may be imports from other 3D tools... also, some of these will stall SketchUp for some seconds).
